About the Photographer
Esther Hicks is a self-made entrepreneur and the founder of Esther Hicks Photography. Born and raised in Saint Lucia, Esther has called North Carolina her home for over 20 years. In addition to having over a decade of photography experience, Esther's work is featured on both Wedding wire.com and Facebook and holds a stellar 5 -star rating on each platform.
Esther loves working with people from various backgrounds and cultures, and it is evident in the work that she produces. She has photographed countless events in and around the Triangle area, including several forums sponsored by the GreaterDurham Black Chamber of Commerce and the Annual Doug Boyd Foundation Golf tournament. In addition to capturing the moments of many of the Triangle's most celebrated events. Esther's work featured in the highly-rated novel, A Death in Harlem by the prestigious African American Studies Scholar, Karla F.C.Holloway, and NC Bridal Magazine.
Esther's goal is to capture priceless moments that will last each client a lifetime. She specializes in Wedding Photography but is available for various types of booking, including but not limited to bridal portraits, engagements, family photos, professional events, headshots, business branding, and much more.
